Kerolin Nicoli, presented as an FC Barcelona player
A smiling Kerolin Nicoli enjoyed her first big day as an FC Barcelona player at the Spotify Camp Nou offices were the Brazilian was presented as a blaugrana after signing a contract with the Club until 30 June 2030.
The player was accompanied by FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta, member of the Board of Directors responsible for women's football, Xavi Puig as well as Board Members Àngel Riudalbàs and Xavier Barniol.
The magical day saw the Brazilian international receive her member card and carry out the traditional photo session with the new season's Barça jersey, all in the presence of her family and close friends.
"This is a dream"
After signing her new contract with Barça, Kerolin Nicoli faced the waiting media. "This is a dream for me. At first I could not believe it but I could not let this opportunity slip away from me. These things only happen once in a lifetime," said the Brazilian.
"My heroes are Ronaldinho and Neymar, players who I watched a lot when I was younger," revealed Nicoli, showing her interest in Barça players since a young age. The former Manchester City player then concluded: "I am grateful for the effort made by Barça - my season at City was really good so it makes sense that FC Barcelona came in for me."
