The Joan Miró Foundation has launched an exclusive promotion for FC Barcelona penya members, offering a 20% discount on museum tickets, an initiative that strengthens the link between culture and sport in the city of Barcelona.
The discount applies to both standard and reduced admission tickets and can be obtained in two ways: by purchasing online and entering the code PENYES20 on the Foundation’s website, or in person by showing the Barça penya digital membership card at the museum ticket office.
Thanks to this promotion, visitors can save between 3 and 9 euros, depending on the type of ticket.
A landmark of modern and contemporary art
The Fundació Joan Miró was the first museum in Barcelona dedicated to modern and contemporary art. The work of Joan Miró coexists with contemporary artistic expressions in a unique setting where art, architecture and nature interact in perfect harmony. The museum is located on Montjuïc in an iconic building designed by Josep Lluís Sert in close collaboration with the artist.
In 2026, coinciding with the Foundation’s 50th anniversary and Barcelona’s designation as World Capital of Architecture, the museum is presenting a programme linked to the building and its surroundings.
Last March saw the inauguration of the new presentation of the Miró Collection, featuring more than 100 works that create a dialogue between the artist’s work and Sert’s architecture. The renovation also includes the reopening of access to the Cypress Garden. In addition, during 2026 the Foundation will host major exhibitions such as the first monographic exhibition in Spain by Kapwani Kiwanga and a retrospective dedicated to Charlotte Perriand.
Practical information
The Fundació Joan Miró is located just 15 minutes from central Barcelona and can be reached by the 55 and 150 bus routes, the Montjuïc Funicular, or on foot or by bicycle. Near the museum are Bicing stations 522 and 526, opposite the cable car station.
For opening hours, ticket prices, services and recommendations to help plan your visit, the museum provides full practical information on its website.
With this initiative, Barça penya members have a unique opportunity to discover or rediscover one of the city’s most iconic cultural spaces under advantageous conditions.
