The penyistes identification process promoted by FC Barcelona continues to grow, with more than 100,000 people now correctly registered and able to benefit from all the advantages offered by the club.

Catalonia and Spain, the epicentre of Barça supporters’ clubs

As expected, Catalonia is the region with the highest number of registered penyistes in the world, with almost 31,000 people properly identified. Within Catalonia, the province of Barcelona accounts for the largest share of registered penyistes.

Elsewhere in Spain, the figure is close to 30,000 registered penyistes, with Andalusia being the autonomous community with the highest number of correctly identified members, at over 6,500 people.

A global passion: Barça present across the planet

Rooted in Catalonia but open to the world, FC Barcelona has a global fanbase that continues to grow. International supporters’ clubs are a clear reflection of this shared passion, with an increasingly strong presence worldwide.

In terms of international registration, Europe remains the continent where Barça support is most prominent. Countries such as Poland have consolidated their position in recent years as a key hub for Barça fans, alongside France, Belgium, and Germany, which are territories with a long-standing blaugrana tradition.

In the rest of the world, there has been notable growth in Asia, where China, South Korea, and Japan clearly lead in the number of penyistes. In Africa, Senegal and the countries of North Africa (Tunisia, Morocco, and Egypt) account for the largest number of Barça supporters. Meanwhile, in the Americas, the United States continues to increase its Barça following year after year, with strong support also evident in countries such as Panama, Nicaragua, and Argentina.
