The first leg of FC Barcelona's UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie against Newcastle United will be played on Tuesday 10 March on Tyneside, and once again the supporters’ clubs will be backing the team from the stands. For this away trip, 333 penya members will travel to the north of England, with those from European clubs making up the largest group, as is usually the case on these trips.

The one with the largest representation at St James’ Park will be the Penya Blaugrana London of Great Britain, with 38 members travelling, followed by the clubs from Poland, regular attendees at European away games, as well as from Shanghai, Liège and Paris.

Several Catalan penyes and others from the rest of Spain will also be present to help create a vibrant atmosphere in a decisive match.
