In the presence of the Vice-President of the Social Area, Antoni Escudero, and the Board Member responsible for the Social Area, Josep Ignasi Macià, the Penya Barcelonista d’Esparreguera and the Penya Barcelonista Blaugrana Gavanenca celebrated their 50th anniversaries this weekend. On Friday 14, the PB Esparreguera held its anniversary dinner, attended by Escudero. On Sunday 16, Macià attended the PBB Gavanenca’s anniversary lunch.

At the 50th anniversary of PB Esparreguera, founded in 1975 and currently with 180 members, attendees also included Paco Martínez and Josep Moratalla, former players and members of the FC Barcelona Players’ Association, as well as the Mayor of Esparreguera, Juan Jurado, and the penya president, Joan Vendrell. The celebration dinner took place at Heretat Can Cordelles and was attended by around 80 people.

The half-century celebration of the PBB Gavanenca, which was likewise founded in 1975 and has around 50 members, was attended by the Secretary of the FC Barcelona Players’ Association, Antonio Olmo, the Mayor of Gavà, Gemma Badia, and the president of PBB Gavanenca, Jordi Garcia. The commemorative lunch was held at the restaurant Mar de Pins and brought together around 90 people.
