On Monday 15 September, the Asian penyes, specifically those belonging to the Asia-Pacific region, enjoyed a very special meeting with FC Barcelona. The event, promoted by the club’s office in Hong Kong, brought together representatives from several official supporters’ clubs and was attended by Josep-Ignasi Macià, Board Member and head of the Social Area, as well as Enric Bosch, Head of the Penyes Department, and other club executives.
Clubs taking part included Penya FC Barcelona Japan, the Barça Hong Kong Fan Club, Penya Barcelonista de Seoul, Penya Blaugrana Shanghai, and Penya Barça de Everest. The meeting served to strengthen the bonds between the club and Asian supporters, consolidating the good harmony generated during the summer tour. It also provided an opportunity to share the club’s vision directly from Barcelona with culers across the continent, something that was especially appreciated.

Inspirational and forward-looking
In his address, Macià thanked the Penyes for their dedication and passion, emphasising that “it is you who make it possible for the Barça spirit to reach every corner of the world.” He also highlighted the joint efforts between different areas of the club and the Hong Kong office, which have been key to bringing Barça closer to fans across Asia. This collaboration, he noted, should be the foundation for sharing strategies in a part of the world where the Barça fan base continues to grow.
Another central point of his speech was the process of registering supporters, which already has more than 82,000 entries. “Every name counts. Every supporter matters" he said. "This registration allows us to establish a more direct, human, and authentic relationship with all of you.”
This meeting was more than just a gathering; it was a milestone for the Barça community in Asia-Pacific, representing the first regional forum of its kind, with direct contact between supporters’ clubs and a member of the Board of Directors.
