FC Barcelona's process to identify penya members continues to grow, with over 75,000 people now correctly registered and able to enjoy all the benefits offered by the club.

Catalonia and Spain: Culer heartland

As expected, Catalonia is the region with the highest number of registered members in the world, with over 22,350 people correctly identified. Among them, the clubs with the highest number of registered members are Agrupació Barcelonista Penya Anguera, with over 560 members, followed by Penya Blaugrana Igualada with over 460, and Unió Barcelonista Catalonia, with more than 450.

Across the rest of Spain, just over 21,000 supporters are registered. The leading clubs by registration are Peña Barcelonista Chema Corbella Aldehuela del Jerte (Extremadura) with 345 members, followed by Peña Barcelonista de Lepe Segundo Triplete (Andalusia) with just over 300, and Peña Barcelonista Viriato de Zamora (Castile and León) with 278 members.

All around the world

Without losing sight of its roots, FC Barcelona is also a club with a huge global following. So much so that its supporters’ clubs have a strong international presence, and the global network continues to grow.

When it comes to member registration, Iraq continues to stand out, where Barça passion is extraordinary: over 14,600 members have been correctly registered, making it the country outside Catalonia and Spain with the strongest penya presence. The Baghdad club alone has over 13,000 members, making it a major culer hub in the Persian Gulf.

Poland, one of the most prominent Barça centres in recent years, is the European country with the highest number of registered supporters—over 4,200. The Penya Blaugrana de Poznań, with over 1,500 members, is the largest in the country.

Other notable clubs include almost 700 members of Barcelona Cairo Fans, over 600 at Penya Blaugrana Stuttgart and over 1,000 at Penya Blaugrana Shanghai.

In the Americas, the most active clubs in their regions include Familia Blaugrana de Panamá, and the penyes in Córdoba (Argentina) and New York. Among African supporters’ clubs, special mention goes to Peña Blaugrana Dakar, with over 150 members.
