Barça ended the season with three trophies in the bag: La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup. Furthermore, Barça were also just minutes away from the Champions League final before being knocked out in extra time of the second leg of their semi-final against Internazionale. Nevertheless, the season has left plenty of happy memories behind from an amazingly successful first season for Hansi Flick as blaugrana coach.

As you can imagine, the season also contained some epic matches - four Clásicos against Real Madrid and some unforgettable contests in the Champions League and the Copa del Rey. We have chosen eight of the best and here they are:

Beating familiar rivals

After losing their opening game of the Champions League's new league phase against Monaco, Barça went on a six game winning streak in the competition to ultimately end in second place in the table behind Liverpool.

The victory against the former club of new coach Hansi Flick, Bayern Munich, was especially impressive, the blaugranes running out 4-1 winners at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.

Big win at the Bernabéu

Three days after the win against the Bavarians came the first Clásico of the campaign in official competition. The 4-0 win away at the Santiago Bernabéu in La Liga was memorable for the Coldplay shirt collaboration and for two goals from Lewandowski and one apiece for Lamine Yamal and Raphinha.

First trophy

In January 2025 the first piece of silverware for the season was at stake as Barça defeated Athletic Club in the semi-finals to set up a showdown with Real Madrid in Saudi Arabia in the Spanish Super Cup. Despite falling behind early on, the 5-2 win for Flick's team was one for the history books.

Comeback in Lisbon

One of the most epic of several comebacks over the season came in the league phase of the Champions League. Away in the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon, Barça were 4-2 down against Benfica with less than a quarter of an hour remaining. Goals from Lewandowski, Eric Garcia and Raphinha turned the game in Barça's favour on a raining evening in Lisbon.

Another comeback

Another memorable come from behind win happened at the Metropolitano against Atlético Madrid in the league. The home side were 2-0 up only for two goals from Ferran, and strikes from Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal to turn the tide in Barça's favour and seriously dent Atlético's league title hopes.

Copa del Rey final for the history books

The second trophy of the season came in la Cartuja stadium in Seville. A late equaliser from Ferran Torres took the game into extra time and Jules Kounde was the hero of the hour, making it 3-2 with just minutes remaining to hand the blaugranes a 32nd win in the competition.

Fourth Clásico for Barça

Week 35 in La Liga saw a title showdown between Barça and Real Madrid, the fourth of the season in all competitions. Barça had won the three previous meetings and they added a fourth with a 4-3 win wearing a commemorative Travis Scott jersey.

The league is blaugrana

Four days later Barça were finally able to celebrate winning the league with a 2-0 victory over city rivals Espanyol. The venue was the RCDE Stadium, where Barça clinched the title in 2023, and goals from Lamine and Fermín sealed a vital three points.

The eight games and Instagram

From Friday, FC Barcelona's official Instagram account is pitting the eight games against each other. Fans can vote for their favourite from each head to head duel until only the winner remains.
