A group of penya representatives from Madrid met up with FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta, vice-president Rafa Yuste, and director for the Social Area Josep-Ignasi Macià prior to the match against Getafe.

Around 60 people drawn from different penyes in the Madrid region were able to speak with the president about FC Barcelona's current affairs. Joan Laporta thanked them for their support and work in the region for Barça. Rafa Yuste also added his appreciation for all the support from the Madrid penyes for our teams, players, and coaches.

Furthermore, Josep-Ignasi Macià highlighted all the work being done by the penyes to complete the penya member register and assured that the Club are working to provide more and better benefits for them, such as being able to apply for tickets for away games such as against Getafe.

The Board of Directors have made it one of their core missions to restore direct interaction with the penyes.
