Last Friday 23 February, the Penya Barcelonista d’Olot i Comarca celebrated its 50th anniversary with an event attended by FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta; the vice-president of the Social Area, Antonio Escudero; the director responsible for the Social Area, Josep-Ignasi Macià; social commission member Jesús Pont and former player and Barcelona Players Group president Juan Manuel Asensi.
Ca l’Enric restaurant in Vall de Bianya was the venue for a dinner with around 150 guests. The event opened with a speech by the president of PB d’Olot i Comarca, Francesc Delforn, while there were also words from Juan Manuel Asensi and the mayor of Vall de Bianya, Santi Rexach.
Joan Laporta said the final words and handed gifts to the different supporters clubs in attendance, followed by a traditional group photo.
