The two supporters clubs of Valencia commemorate their 25 years

The Penya Barcelonista Cabanyal-Ciutat Jardí and the Peña Barcelonista "San Marcelino" celebrate 25 years of history with the presence of Josep Ignasi Macià

Valencia capital had a marked Blaugrana character for one day thanks to the celebration of the 25 years of the two supporters’ clubs of the city of Turia, the Penya Barcelonista Cabanyal-Ciutat Jardí and the Peña Barcelonista "San Marcelino". Both entities decided to have their anniversaries party coincide on the same day and place, which attests to the great existing harmony between the two Barcelona supporters' clubs.

To celebrate with them such an outstanding event as celebrating 25 years as an official Supporters’ Club, Josep Ignasi Macià, member of the Board of Directors of FC Barcelona, ​​travelled to Valencia. In the official representation by the Club, he was accompanied by Ferran Beltrán, member of the Social Commission, and by Juan Manuel Asensi, former player and member of the FC Barcelona Players Association.

The commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the two Valencian supporters' clubs began with the words of the personalities in attendance. Deputy for culture from the Valencia Provincial Council Xavier Rius, along with the two presidents of the supporting supporters clubs, Francisco Miguel Palomares, president of the "San Marcelino" Barcelonista Supporters Club, and Rafael Baidez, president of the Cabanyal-Ciutat Jardí Supporters Club were the main distinguished characters, in addition to the representatives of FC Barcelona.

By the end of this event attended by more than 60 people, the traditional cake was cut, which the attendees wanted to take advantage to immortalize the moment with a family photograph.
