After a rest day on Sunday the FC Barcelona first team squad returned to work on Monday morning. Hansi Flick's men worked out at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper for the first of the day's two sessions.

Hansi Flick had all his first team players for the session along with Ronald Araujo, back after World Cup duty with Uruguay.

As last week, members of the Barça Atlètic and U19 squads took part in the session: Orian Goren, Alex González, Òscar Gistau, Hamza Abdelkarim, Ibrahim Diarra, Shane Kluivert, Ebrima Tunkara, Toni Fernández, Guille Fernández, Jofre Torrents, Tommy Marqués, Brian Fariñas, Álvaro Cortés, Aron Yaakobishvili, Iker Rodríguez and  Xavi Espart.

In the afternoon, from 6.00pm local time onwards, the Barça coach oversaw a long and intense training session with the same group of players as in the morning session.

Three double sessions 

Monday is the first of three days with double sessions planned, the others being Wednesday and Friday. On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday the team will just have the one training session.
