Countdown to the Champions League final. This Saturday, Barça take on OL Lyonnes with the aim of reclaiming European glory. After defeat in last season’s final, the blaugranes are fully focused on adding another continental title to their honours list. It will not be easy, though, with the competition’s most dominant side standing in their way.
Off to Oslo
This Thursday, Pere Romeu announced the set of players that will hopefully be delivering the goods in Oslo: Gemma, Paredes, María León, Sydney, Paralluelo, Marta, Pina, Graham, Alexia, Patri, Cata Coll, Aitana, Serrajordi, Pajor, Kika, Vicky, Batlle, Aïcha, Brugts, Fenger, Txell Font, Adriana and Carla Julià.
Graham back fit, Aleixandri travels without medical clearance
The main piece of good news is the return of Caroline Graham Hansen, who had missed the team’s most recent matches. Laia Aleixandri is also included in the squad and will travel with the team despite not yet having received medical clearance.
It is a difficult challenge, but the Barça squad are completely focused. The Ullevaal Stadion provides another European stage on which to continue writing history. And to put the finishing touch on what has already been a magnificent season.
