Another award heads to FC Barcelona. With the 2025/26 league campaign now over and Hansi Flick’s Barça crowned champions, the Zarra Trophy has also gone blaugrana. Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres shared the award after finishing as the highest-scoring Spanish players in the domestic competition.

It is the first time the trophy has made its way into the Barça cabinet. Introduced in the 2005/06 season, no Spanish player representing the Catalan club had previously finished as La Liga’s top domestic scorer. In 2025/26, Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres now join the list of previous winners that includes names such as David Villa, Aritz Aduriz, Iago Aspas and Gerard Moreno. Villa of course, was a Barça player, but he didn't win the award wearing the Barça shirt.

The Barça duo, who combined brilliantly throughout the title-winning campaign, finished one goal ahead of Mikel Oyarzabal of Real Sociedad.

Another blaugrana honour

The 16 league goals each scored by both forwards earned them a thoroughly deserved prize. The performances and goals of the young duo played a major role in securing the league title. It has been a season painted in blaugrana colours, with Joan Garcia also winning the Zamora Trophy this year. Three individual honours in the same campaign, something unprecedented in the club’s history.
