Procedures
FC Barcelona and Al-Ittihad Jeddah Club have reached an agreement for the transfer of the Barça Atlétic player Unai Hernández.
The Club wishes him all the best and success in the future both on and off the field.
Unai came to Barça in the summer of 2022 from the youth set up at Girona, joining the U19A squad with whom he played 28 games in the league, scoring 10 goals. He played a further six games in the UEFA Youth League, scoring twice and also made two appearances in the U19 Copa del Rey. In January 2023 he made his debut for Barça Atlètic in a 1-0 win away at Calahorra.
The following season he became a squad member at Barça Atlètic and played 38 games under coach Rafa Márquez, in midfield and on the left wing, scoring 10 goals.
In 2024/25 the player from Malgrat de Mar in Catalonia was second captain, alongside Aleix Garrido, of Barça Atlètic and made 20 appearances for the team, top scoring with nine goals and creating three assists also.
