In the Copa de la Reina quarter-finals, the blaugranes once again swept aside Real Madrid Femenino with a commanding 4-0 win, powered by a brace from Ewa Pajor and goals from Alexia Putellas and Salma Paralluelo. Once again, Barça ruled in Madrid.

Shaky start and worrying injury

Heavy rain had left the pitch slow and waterlogged, and Barça struggled to settle early on. A short back pass nearly gifted Athenea del Castillo a goal, but the danger was cleared. The game then paused in concern when Laia Aleixandri injured her knee and had to be replaced by Aïcha Camara, who impressed at centre-back and helped stabilise the defence.

Alexia opens the door

Barça’s dominance was finally rewarded when Alexia powered home a header from a corner in the 21st minute to silence the home crowd. The lead could have grown before half-time, with Vicky López striking the post, while a Real Madrid equaliser was ruled out for offside.

Pajor takes control

Early in the second half, Cata Coll made a crucial save to deny Caroline Weir. Soon after, Pajor created space outside the box and fired in a shot that slipped past Misa Rodríguez to make it 2-0.

Salma seals it and Pajor finishes the job

Just two minutes after coming on, Salma made it three with a delicate finish following a brilliant assist from Patri Guijarro. The rout was completed when Pajor struck again in the 82nd minute to cap another emphatic Clásico victory.
