The Barça finalists
From the women’s team, the nominees are Ona Batlle, Aitana Bonmatí, Alexia Putellas, Patri Guijarro and Vicky López. Meanwhile, Pedri, Lamine Yamal, Pau Cubarsí and Raphinha are the candidates from the men’s first team.
Another accolade for 2024/25
This represents yet another recognition for the club after an outstanding 2024/25 campaign. Both Hansi Flick’s and Pere Romeu’s sides achieved a domestic treble of Liga, Copa and Super Copa. In addition, both teams went far in the Champions League: the men’s team were knocked out in the semi-finals, while the women’s team lost in the final. These achievements have propelled the Barça players to these nominations.
Winners announced on November 3
With the finalists now confirmed, the next step will come on Monday 3 November, when FIFPro will announce the winners through its digital channels. The awards are decided through voting by professional footballers from all over the world.
