Over 4,000 blaugrana supporters in Milan
The FC Barcelona players won't be alone alone at the Giuseppe Meazza for the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Inter Milan. A total of 3,064 club members and 1,027 supporters’ club members will be in Lombardy to support them. The importance of the match has drawn Barça's largest travelling support of the season, surpassing those who made the trips to the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon to face Benfica, and to Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund against Borussia.
In total, 158 supporters’ clubs from around the world will be making the journey. As is customary for major European away fixtures, more than half are international clubs, with particularly strong representation from Polish supporters as usual. Notable also is the presence of Italian and Swiss clubs, boosted by Milan’s geographical proximity. Several Catalan and other Spanish clubs will also be in attendance, lending their voices to help create a vibrant atmosphere for this crucial match.
